“CoopNet 2.0: Learning and growing together” aims to educate and develop a community of leaders who already manage agricultural cooperatives (executive managers and presidents), so that they will be able to provide for the cooperative the necessary resources to carry out their work.

CoopNet 2.0 is a natural continuation of the CoopNet project started 2 years ago, a project through which we managed to grow a community of experts in the field of establishment and operation of agricultural cooperatives to support the association and collaboration between farmers in Romania and contribute to the creation of associative structures. Experience has shown us that it takes at least 2-3 years for an agricultural cooperative to become operational, being needed to go through this process through various stages of evolution.

Through the new project we aim to increase the community of leaders through mentoring sessions, international study visits, a training program for the executive of agricultural cooperatives, research and advocacy activities. The list of CoopNet 2.0 priorities also includes the organization of events and the bringing together various important actors – business partners, local authorities, members of cooperatives and the community.
