It’s been a while since we shared updates about our project, Today small NGOs, tomorrow sustainable NGOs. This is because it has been an intense period with a lot of work for our team and the NGOs in the project. And when you work with passion and dedication, the results do not take long to show! So, we’re excited to share with you two important updates about our project.
15 NGOs conducted crowdfunding campaigns on Creștem Idei
The 15 small NGOs from the belONG community (a community of small NGOs which we created within the project) have successfully concluded their crowdfunding campaigns on Creștem Idei (We Grow Ideas). They made efforts to mobilize the community and raise funds for their social and environmental projects. Representatives from each organization worked closely with our team to develop their ideas and complete their campaigns.
People behind each campaign worked hard for their projects and we are proud of them! Congratulations to Asociaţia MC Huniadica, Asociația Acces la Viitor, Educația la Sat, Asociația People Around, Adventure Academy, Asociația Avatar, ATE Carpatia, Asociația Elevilor din Timiș, Fundația Inima Copilului, Asociația Young Famous Orchestra, Asociația CARE – Cetățeni Activi pentru Relații Etice, Asociația Educativ, Asociația Gutenberg, Rotaract Cluj-Napoca Cetățuie, Asociația Bruiaj Colectiv!
12 out of the 15 campaigns reached their funding goal
Out of the 15 organizations, 12 NGOs successfully completed their campaigns and raised funds for their good causes. They managed to mobilize the community, and we hope their example will inspire more NGOs to explore alternative funding methods! You can see which campaigns reached their funding goal on www.crestemidei.org.
We all learned a lot from our crowdfunding journey. We are now figuring out how to package our experience to be useful for as many people as possible! We’ll be back soon!
Working together for a green, competitive and inclusive Europe.
