Context
The project contributes to the achievement of the strategic objectives established by Romania’s Strategy for Education and Vocational Training. The partnership created through this project between companies in the commercial sector and the high schools participating in the project will help maintain relationships and continue collaborations even after the project ends, due to the recognition of the importance of aligning the skills developed with those demanded by the labor market. As a result of the project, due to the increase in the level of professional training and workforce competence, and through participation in the sub-activities of the GreenComp module, as well as the pilot program for job searching and retention, the project aims to reach a certification indicator of at least 80%.

What are we aiming for?
The main objective of the project is to improve the quality and efficiency of workplace learning programs by organizing and conducting innovative internship stages for students in vocational and technical education (VET). The project seeks to support the integration of students into the labor market, develop relevant professional skills, and respond to the current and future needs of the regional and local economy.

What’s next?
The goal of the program is for 252 students from the target group to develop their professional skills in a real work environment, become familiar with the commercial sector, and enter the labor market with solid practical knowledge. Participants had the opportunity to get involved in various sectors, thus contributing to their own development and to strengthening the future of the commercial sector.

Future Builders not only offers professional experience but also represents an excellent opportunity for students to build professional networks and find the career path that suits them.
