YOUCooperATE (Youth Cooperation for Agricultural Renewal through Education)

The YOUCooperATE Project (Youth Cooperation for Agricultural Renewal through Education) has as its main objective the strengthening of knowledge and skills among young people aged 15 to 17 who are involved in agricultural vocational education and training (T-VET) programs in Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria, Latvia, and Italy.

Through modern teaching techniques, including e-learning, young people from the countries involved in the project will develop knowledge about the values and business model of cooperatives. Moreover, the project supports the acquisition of knowledge by students, encourages the involvement of agricultural cooperatives through mentorship, simulation programs, and study visits aimed at promoting best practices and tools related to cooperative entrepreneurship in agro-VET schools across the five countries.

The ultimate goal is to support the development of the agricultural sector by the next generation of farmers in the participating countries.
