Civitas Foundation for Civil Society Cluj, in partnership with World Vision Romania Foundation, is launching an organizational development program for 30 civil society organizations active in the field of employment and training, who contribute to the inclusion in the Romanian labour market. The project is called Partnership for Employment 2.0 and is co-funded by the European Social Fund Plus through the Education and Employment Operational Program.<\/p>\n

Through vocational training programmes, career counselling and facilitating access to job opportunities, civil society organizations (CSOs) contribute directly to the integration of vulnerable groups into the labour market, helping disadvantaged people to develop their skills and find stable jobs. Partnership for Employment 2.0 is a programme designed to grow these organizations so that they can increase their impact and become more vocal in the public space, and therefore actively participate in civic dialogue.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]\n

How will CSOs benefit from the program?<\/strong><\/h3>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Once in the program, organizations will benefit for two years of support in developing quality services in the field of employment, as well as integrated services for organizational development and digitalization of processes in the organization.<\/p>\n

In addition to free courses<\/strong> (courses for experts in accessing funds, community facilitation, entrepreneurial, legal and financial skills), the 30 organizations in the programme will participate in international exchanges in Belgium and Italy <\/strong>as part of a network.<\/p>\n

They will also learn about the future of work, green jobs, green economy, entrepreneurship and circular economy in dedicated workshops.<\/strong><\/p>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]\n

Conditions for NGOs that want to apply<\/strong><\/h3>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]To become part of the project, the organizations (association\/foundation\/federation) must have as objectives, according to their statutory documents, the implementation of specific labour market measures: stimulating employment through information, counselling, mediation, adult vocational training, self-employment through entrepreneurship, stimulating civic dialogue.<\/p>\n

At the same time, the project addresses only organizations from the North-West, Centre, North-East and South-West Oltenia regions<\/strong>. Therefore, only CSOs active in these regions will be considered eligible.<\/p>\n

The call for project applications will open in July.<\/strong> The announcement of the call will be published on the Civitas Foundation’s website as well as on the organization’s social media platforms.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]…..[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]The project (SMIS Code: 304953) is co-financed by the European Social Fund Plus, through the Operational Program Education and Employment and has a total value of 4.026.433,57 lei, of which 3.422.468,54 lei is the EU contribution. It will be implemented in the period from June 1, 2024 to May 31, 2026.<\/p>\n

The aim of the project is to increase the capacity of civil society organizations to contribute to the inclusion through employment and training of disadvantaged groups and to be involved in the implementation of employment measures, through support actions to strengthen their role in the labour market and their involvement in strengthening the civic dialogue. At the end of the project, 30 organizations will have an increased capacity to provide employment and labour market training services and 70 people (volunteers, employees or members in the governing bodies of CSOs) will develop their skills as a result of the courses and workshops organized by the project.[\/vc_column_text][nectar_btn size=”small” button_style=”regular” button_color_2=”Accent-Color” icon_family=”none” url=”http:\/\/civitas.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/Comunicat_Parteneriat-pentru-Ocupare-2.0.docx” text=”Download the press release”]
